Skate with the Lakers: Holiday Fundraiser on December 10th
This beloved family-friendly event will take place from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Deborah F. Stanley Arena and Convocation Center in the Marano Campus Center. All proceeds will go towards supporting the United Way of Greater Oswego County.
Get ready to glide on the ice with the Lakers men’s and women’s hockey teams, spreading holiday cheer throughout the rink. The cost of admission is just $3 per person, and skate rentals are an extra $3 if you need them.
At the event, there will be exciting chances to win a Laker hockey jersey, and Santa Claus himself might just make an unexpected appearance!
Mark Digby, the head coach of Oswego State women’s hockey who oversaw the event planning, stated, “Our student-athletes are thrilled to give back to the fans, especially the children.” Every year, our athletes eagerly anticipate this occasion, and I believe they enjoy it just as much as the neighborhood kids do.Plus, it’s all for a really worthy cause.In this case, everyone benefits.”
Recall that children under the age of 17 should attend the celebrations with an adult.
