DC Responds to Amber Heard’s Claims about Jason Momoa
In October 2022, excerpts from Amber Heard’s therapy notes were leaked to the media, in which she claimed that her Aquaman co-star, Jason Momoa, was drunk on set and clashed with her. Heard’s notes also claimed that she felt unsupported by the film’s director, James Wan.
DC Studios responded to these allegations in a statement to Entertainment Tonight, saying that Momoa “conducted himself in an expert way always at the set of Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom.” The statement also said that DC is “excited for audiences to see the film this December.”

An insider also told Variety that Momoa has a “great work ethic” and is “a pleasure to work with.” The insider also said that Momoa’s “unique style” is what makes him “such a great Aquaman.”
Heard’s claims against Momoa have been met with skepticism by many, given her history of making false accusations against her ex-husband, Johnny Depp. In 2022, Depp won his defamation trial against Heard after she accused him of domestic violence.
